It's much catchier. Politicians have to be politicians and condemn this. But they aren't grownups and grownups SHOULD be able to get past this and realise people are different and have their own different ways of showing their patriotism. You're goddamn right it's the race card. She is a Black American and sang the Black American anthem. Sometimes that's just how it is.
