Regarding pro-life theres a much tighter and closely related contradiction between pro-life and pro-death penalty.

Those who oppose infanticide missed the boat and let the pro murder group control the dialoge. The word "abortion" should disappear from those who support life venacular. It should be put as anti murder or anti infanticide, and those that favor killing babies should be called "pro infanticide" and "pro murder".

Further, I want it very clear that I am GLAD some one shot that son of a bitch, Just as I would have been glad if they had killed hitler in 1939. But lets make it clear, the bad doctor death tiller was NOT MURDERED> He was simply "aborted" using the "procedure" of a "bullet to the head" around the 97th trimester. I hope they get all the providers of late term abortions. I keep hearing "its the law", but those who made "the ruling of the law" in 1973 WERE NOT ELECTED OFFICIALS, and you cannot find a single part of the 14th amendment that supports the ruling as claimed. There is a higher "moral" law. To kill hitler in 1933 if you could somehow know what he is going to unleash on the world is a moral judgement "after the fact" and justifiable. To "abort" the bad doctor tiller after he has taken 100's or 1000's of lives, and in the position to take 100's or 1000's of lives in the future is simply "justifiable homocide", the protection of others for a madman.

I think jury nullification might make it in this one. I certainly would hang a jury, and even try to get the "innocent by reason of justifiable homocide" rather than a hung jury.

I also like Mr Obomanation's comment that violence is not the way to settle our differences. Killing a viable baby in the womb is certainly violence of the most imaginable form.

Bottom line, the bad doctor got exactly what he deserved, except if was too quick of a death.

Some real rabid types here I see. Lets see how rabid. Do you believe in abortion in the case of rape, incest or for the health of the mother?

Rape or incest is NOT the babies fault, so no, not worth killing a kid for.

And to keep in the "late term" abortion venue, which is what the bad doctor did, show me a single reason that having the child alive is more risk that killing it in the womb. There is no medical safety situation that is common to late term baby killing, that would increase the risk to the life of the mother to term/deliver the child ("C" section is always safer than birth). I called one of my daughters who is a delivery room and critical care nurse, and she knows of none. Perhaps you know of one?

And for saving the life of the mother, I might go with you on that one, provided it is REALLY saving the life of the mother, and there are no viable alternatives. But that should be the rare exception, and should have a three doctor panel review the evidence before being allowed. The risk to the mother however, must be clear and imminent to end the fetus's life. Fair enough dave?
